NCAT — the National Committee for Addiction Treatment — is an independent group of service leaders, consumer, peer and lived experience leaders, educators, researchers and others that work in, or support the addiction sector in Aotearoa.

Our vision

Everyone living in Aotearoa can access the addiction support and treatment options they need and want – from services that are local, person- and whānau-centred, culturally responsive, and effective.

Our mission

We bring together employers, consumer advocates, educators and others agencies working in the addiction sector to provide sector-wide perspectives, expertise and leadership to support and strengthen addiction service delivery in Aotearoa.

As a peak body within the addiction sector, NCAT provides leadership to the sector and its stakeholders.

Addiction Leadership Day

NCAT’s Addiction Leadership Days take place three times a year.

They offer an opportunity to share the latest sector updates and research, deepen professional networks and collaborate across the addiction sector.
